Our Women's Opportunity Award program assists women by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills and job prospects. Another key program is the Soroptimist Violet Richardson Award , which honors girls who are making a difference through volunteer service.

The Gig Harbor club is also in the development phase of Project Safe Harbor . The mission of this program is to provide emergency support services to victims of domestic abuse in our community, allowing women an opportunity to leave an abusive situation quickly and safely. The program will also provide these women access to support and information to help them gain the strength and confidence to pursue a healthy and productive life.

Soroptimist STOP Trafficking, a project that raises awareness about the sexual trafficking of women and girls, and seeks to encourage citizens, law makers and service providers to focus on this global problem.
Soroptimist Live Your Dream Campaign,
aims to inspire women to live their dreams, and encourages them to pass their good fortune on to others.
Soroptimist Workplace Campaign to End Domestic Violence, targets domestic violence as a workplace concern.
Soroptimist Making a Difference for Women Award,
recognizes women who help other women and girls.
Soroptimist Disaster Recovery Fund for Women and Girls,
provides funds for programs that assist women and girls after a man-made or natural disaster.
