Founded in 1921,Soroptimist is an organization for businessand professionalwomen who volunteer in their communities. Almost100,000 Soroptimists inabout 120 countries and territoriescontribute time andsupport to community–based and internationalprojects benefitingwomen and girls. Soroptimist clubs participate in organizational programs on the local level to meet the unique needs of their communities.
